Resolved Question: could not having a lunch break at work be causing my tiredness?
I work 10am - 2pm without a break. I work on the tills in a lit, but quite dull part of the store and it is below a heater. I should also add that I suffer from migraines too. For breakfast I usually find it difficult to eat as soon as i receive up so I have a cup of tea with 4 custard creams at 8:30 am. then when I receive to work at 9:30 I usually have a probiotic yoghurt and a banana. then I have nothing to eat (but usually receive mega hungry about 12:30) until I finish work at 2 where I have a packet of crisps to keep me going until I receive home at about 3pm. I will eat something tiny like crumpets or couscous, but I feel so drained after I've eaten and most days I have a headache or migraine and I have to have an hours nap or an energy drink to wake me up (which I don't want to make a habit of) Do you think I need a break/change in diet to help me be more awake after work?

Resolved Question: maintaining weight after a diet?
this is going to be a very long description in the summer of 2010 i managed to lose just below a rock through general healthy eating and excercise and was about 48 kg.. then over christmas 2010 i did everything the same but was up to 50 kg. in january 2011 i decided to eat even healthier and in by may started counting calories and kept a little diary of most days and was eating about 1000-1100 calories a day with bad days occasionally.. i started to lose weight slowly and by the end of july/beggining of august 2011 i was 45 kg as i started eating about 900 calories a day. in september 2011 i was still eating about 900 calories a day and suddenly by october i was about 42 kg and then in december 40 kg which was a very sudden weight loss in comparison to what i have ever had. i am glad at 40 kg as i am very short but i have recently lost another kilo despite feeling like i am eating more. how many calories do i add on to maintain this weight and not gain/lose anymore weight? as im afraid if i add 200 calories sick just go back to being 45 kg as when i was that i was eating the same as i am now?! a normal day for me would be some sort of cereal - usually alpen, special k, bran flakes, porridge - either skimmed or semi skimmed milk and blueberries - comes to about 250-280 calories (fills me up alot) (if im at school i will have an apple/cerealbar at break but not in school holidays) lunch sick have a sandwhich/some sort of salad or anything coming between 230-300 calories for dinner sick have something like fishcakes and some couscous/salmon/chicken and veggies - the normal sort of thing - coming to about 250-350 calories i have a few cups of tea and coffee with sweetners and little milk. this every fills me up for the day obviously i dont want to lose anymore weight so now i sometimes force myself to have a yoghurt in the evenings or an apple but i really do feel sick go back to what i was before because i started losing even more weight when i clip out having that low cal low fat yoghurt after dinner. i thought that i just carry on eating this now for relax of my life to maintain it but i have seemed to have lose abit more.. please help me on how many calories to add to maintain 40 kg when i eat 900cals atm!! im 5ft2 also. it is not realistic for me to suddenly eat 500 cals more as i know sick put on weight and i physically cant eat that much more. if i go up to 1100 calories will i maintain the weight and not go back up to what i was before when i ate this much? i usually run for half an hour once or twice a week. at the beggining of the diet i ran about 3 times a week

Resolved Question: Should England have an English manager?
The FA has already made it clear that they will be interested only in English candidates once Euro 2012 is over. This isn't something I disagree with. International football SHOULD be about the best of your country, versus the best of everyone else and their country. That should be everything from the players to the manager to the coaching staff. For people who say 'Yes but where does it end? The bootboys?' I say NO! It doesn't end at the bootboys! It shouldn't even end at the Wembley groundskeepers! To them I also pose a question, 'If it is ok for the manager to be foreign, where does THAT end? Should every of the players be foreign too? Why even call it England? Why not 'Rainbow Nation Bamboo shoot fvckin organic fairtrade couscous land'? Why even bother with international football at every? To anyone who says this would be a racist policy... damn fvckin right it is! That's the whole point isn't it? It's the national team! If your country only produces needy strikers and needy defenders, then your national team will score very few goals and concede many! Tough sh!t! If your country produces needy managers, then your national team should have a needy manager! And just because the English FA has the money to pay a successful foreign coach to compensate for the fact that we as a country can't produce a successful coach of our possess, doesn't make it right. Jord England - I was always more interested in England than Cov cuz I've always been country before club... but yeah haha don't receive me started on the whole Cov situation. Andy Thorn isn't the problem, it doesn't matter who we have as manager if the board keeps selling our best players and refusing to replace them or even put funds in. I just know that Thorn has got us playing some of the best football I've seen us play for years and years. We need to keep him, and receive rid of the cvnts upstairs.

Resolved Question: What do you think of my diet & workout plan?
Right, I want to help boost some much needed weight loss after the holidays, especially in the next 5 weeks because I have an event to attend. How does this sound: I cycle 9.6 miles each work day (that is a round trip 5 days a week) I walk my dog 10-15 mins each morning before breakfast. 2-3 times a week I do a Zumba workout DVD. I play an hour of badminton, once a week. Each Sunday my partner runs long distance in prep for a marathon, I normally follow him on the bike to help keep his pace up. Food wise I am a veggie and dairy intolerance so in the weekday my diet with be: Breakfast: Fruit salad with soya yogurt, nuts/seeds & flax seed. 1 piece of toast with peanut butter. Glass of juice Snack: fruit & I must admit I sneak a handful of the office sweets that are leftover from christmas... hopefully they will run out soon!!! Lunch: Egg & couscous with a big bowl of homemade soup. Dinner: big bowl of homemade soup. Quorn & soya cheese stir-fry Drinks: I normally have fresh coffee in the mornings, then herbal teas and water throughout the day. At the weekend: Breakfast: Quorn toastie. Lunch: big bowl of homemade soup. Soya cheese & veg omlette or a toastie. Dinner: Normally either a quorn curry with brown rice Bean rissotto Chili with brown rice or something similar. On a Sunday I would normally have a roast dinner using quorn in place of the meat. Drinks: Again coffee, fruit juice, herbal tea, water ... plus the odd glass of cola here and there. If I follow this for the next 5 weeks should I notice much of a difference to my body? I don't weigh myself so I'm aiming for inch loss. Thanks in advance :) Hey I've heard a lot of people talk about trying to clip as much carbs as possible, but with me not eating meat, fish, animal milk and cheeses does this not mean that I need more carbs for energy? My sources of protein are; Beans soya milk Quorn Soya cheese Nuts Seeds Egg Beans are quite high in carbs, as is soya products ... nuts & seeds are good but high in calories so would not want to eat too much. I adore egg, but I know too much of one thing is not good for you :) As you can probably look most of my calories arrive from carbs: Fruit, rice, couscous, veg ... if I clip that out I would not be left with much! Or am I not being creative enough??

Resolved Question: Is this a good diet? (PS- how to stop cravings?)?
Ok, I'm a size 14-16 (UK size) and I'm 13. About 2 months ago I made the decision to lose weight, and I've lost only about half a rock. I go good every day, then when I receive home, I eat (not a whole lot, but still) maybe 2 biscuits and a penguin bar, or something like that. I still feel really really fat. This is a diet that I've composed for myself and that I've tried today. Breakfast- Muesli, a pear or a Nutrigrain Lunch- Couscous and chicken, couscous salad or a chicken salad. Dinner- Seafood chowder, vegetable stir fry, or 6 mini duck spring rolls with a side salad. Snacks- Nutri-grains, sultanas, and pears. I also am aiming to do 50-75 sit ups a day, and 50-75 crunches. I don't eat much junk, so when I took so long to lose weight, I consulted a doctor, and she said that there's nothing preventing weight loss. Do I have an unusually slow metabolism or am I just not trying difficult enough? I never have cravings at school, but when I receive home I crave junk. Help? One more thing- I set incredibly high standards for myself. I aim to only eat about 750 cals per day, and whenever I go over it I feel so immensely guilty, more than anything, I feel obese. My weight is dominating my life, whenever I'm with my friends, I just keep thinking how they are every so much lighter than I am. I always skip breakfast, and some days I go on a complete quick so I hate it when I snack. After I snack, I only think about what I can do to burn it off. Please help! :( And no rude comments please.

I'm a 14 year old girl, 5ft 2 and 115lbs. I've started recently eating a LOT! e.g. today I ate normally (toast and egg for breakfast, an oaty bar for snack, couscous vegetables and prawns for lunch, but then I ate like 3 butter biscuits, a packet of crisps, 3 chocolates) I never used to eat this much, and for years I've been attempting to lose a few pounds. It's only just started happening the other week. I mindlessly snack. I do keep a food diary, but I just end up logging every my snacks! The food diary used to keep me in balance, but it doesn't any more. Also, I exercise every day for half an hour or one hour, working up a sweat each time. Is it just puberty? Am I developing an eating disorder? Is it just winter blues? Am I just bored? Or am I just over worrying and it would every go away soon? PLEASE Help! Thanks

Resolved Question: What should I make with flounder?
I have frozen crowder peas. I have canned tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, refried beans, corn, black beans, and sweat peas. I also have couscous. In the fridge I have spinach, american cheese, three pepper cheese, lettuce, carrots, and cream cheese. I have a bunch of other stuff, too, including spices. So an ideas? Or/and how should I cook the flounder? Thank you in advance! (:

Resolved Question: Rate the food I have eaten?
Breakfast - Quaker oats Lunch - red stuffed peppers (stuffed with chives, parmesan cheese, feta cheese and drizzled with olive oil) with two plum tomatoes and couscous Dinner - rice with a curry containing chickpeas, green beans, chopped tomatoes and potatoes Snacks - greek yoghurt with rasberries, honey and flaked almonds, stawberries, a banana and a handful of roasted and salted cashew nuts Oh, and for drinks I have had orange juice and six glasses of water. Is this okay or is there anything I should add/take away to make my dishes healthier? Thanks. :) Oh, I am vegetarian so I was wondering if I would receive enough protein from this too? Thanks for the answers so far. :) Oh, and do try the pepper recipe haha - it tastes delicious!

Resolved Question: My Bf's Mom is being very protective?
My bf and I are 20 and his mom is lovely I mean I adore her as I loved my possess mom. We have an 8 month old and I mean she is very protective and couscous with her. With what she says does, what is around her, who is around her make sure she is in a safe environment. I mean me and my bf do that to, but I mean it's nuts! Haha... She is even doing it to me too, like telling my bf to buy me gifts, to kiss and hug me more around our daughter, she is even like "Jamilyn, don't go outside with just that on, go upstairs and grab another one of my bf's sweatshirts". I mean I adore her I really do, but what does this mean?
